For those of you who have experienced the high school life, you know that, especially now, the demands on your time and attention, the options for learning and developing your skills and interests, are diverse and potentially overwhelming.  Trying to organize your experience, to prioritize your commitments, can make things very challenging. On the other hand, the opportunities to extend your learnings, to specialize your skills, to go deeper toward your dreams, abound! Given both of those things in regard to theatre, not being able to squeeze theatre classes or productions into your high school schedule AND/OR wanting to get even more time and practice in your art than our comprehensive high school allows, I will share opportunities and trusted partners with our community when I hear about them.  One such is below! 

 Hey there, alums (ya like that?) - For those of you interested in such things (and I'm sure there's many...yeah?), it is time to leave your mark.  We have clearance for alums of the classes of '20 and '21 to come back and paint their names in the auditorium.  How about a bit of the normal world? I'll be onsite at IBWHS mornings between 900am and 1200pm and will be able to provide access to limited numbers (2-4 max) of alums to paint their names.  Please email or text me times you'd like to come in, and I can likely make it happen.   Guidelines are these: 1) No painting over someone else's name; 2) I have a limited selection of paint onsite...think about bringing your own; 3) Space guidelines - a/took classes = 1'x1' box; b/only shows = 2'x2' box; full engagement = 3'x3' box; 4) Safety first...no unsafe painting practices/spaces; 5) Nothing visible from the auditorium house; 6) Take your time and do it well...we have to look at this e

If you put an order in for a show shirt and poster from the spring show, you can come by IBWHS weekday mornings before 1200pm to pick it up.  Just email or text me (Miller) to let me know you're on your way, remind me of the size you requested, and I'll have it ready for you. Now that we are roughly halfway through the summer break, it is high time to get the ball rolling for the upcoming season.  We are going to be reaching out to all y'all on a variety of topics, opportunities, news items, and ideas...and we want/need to hear from you as often as possible!  Your voice is crucial in this time, and will be affecting a wide variety of things including the upcoming season, trips/travel, class content, and many others.
