Given the current COVID restrictions, Young Audiences is excited to be offering our sound engineering course virtually this Spring. We will be focusing on your  home studio  set up and how to use it to record and then mix audio. We recommend this course for   9th-12th grade students  who have a desire to learn more about recording their own audio at home and have some background in creating music. No prior LiveSET program experience necessary. Filmmakers: Check This Out!

  An opportunity... Columbia College Hollywood is excited to announce our virtual high school digital media Festival, “ New Horizons 2021 ” to be held on May 1st 2021.   High School filmmakers, animators and graphic designers, CCH is inviting you to submit  work to be judged by industry experts!    After a historic year of change, we encourage our young artists to consider what’s next?  What might the future hold?  What is the best/worst part of leaving 2020 behind? Essentially what does “New Horizons 2021” mean to you.   We’re asking all interested students to consider this theme while creating their submissions.    Submissions are now open, we encourage educators to make this a class assignment! PRIZES INCLUDE 1st place in each category - $500 Visa gift card + the option of $500 more in a stipend if student chooses to attend CCH   2nd place in each category - $300 Visa gift card + the option of $300 more in a stipend if student chooses to attend CCH    3rd place in each category - $1
