From our friends at #Enough:

For those of you who might be interested in an opportunity to get your voice out there into the world, here is a recent posting from our friends at #Enough, with whom PPS and ART collaborated last month to present a city-wide performance opportunity:

Raise Your Voice: An Urgent Call for Monologues from Teen Writers

"These tragedies have reminded us that words matter and the power of life and death is in the tongue."

- Senate Chaplain Rev. Barry Black

Following the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, #ENOUGH is using its platform to amplify youth voices as our nation faces this time of crisis. We need to hear from our young people, and so do our leaders, now more than ever.

Young writers: You have up to 5 minutes - the same amount of time allotted to our Congressional leaders on January 6th to speak their cases. We say monologue, but you can decide what that means. What's most important is your voice. Your voice can offer us vision, reveal hard truths, challenge our preconceptions, and ask urgent questions. Let us amplify what you have to say to our nation's leaders.

Lastly, this is not a competition. There are no winners or prizes. This is simply necessary.
