Company Meeting Notes - May 11: New Schedule and Troscars

Hi all -

Lots to talk about coming out of yesterday's Company Meeting.  Sorry for the cross-scheduling with the WHS Instagram Live Awards posting...the furlough canceling our Friday meeting last week threw me for a loop in scheduling.  We have a date and time now...and, oh, so much more to throw out there for ya!  (Take some time with this one, it's long...like, multiple posts long...)

NEW COMPANY MEETING SCHEDULE:
First and foremost, Company Meetings will now take place on Thursdays at 300pm...meeting code sw2companymeeting at meet.google.com.  Yes, that means there's a meeting this Thursday, even though it's the second one this week.

TROSCARS:
-The Date: We are looking to hold our virtual Troscars on Wednesday, May 27th at 800pm!  Stay tuned for more information!

-TBoard 20/21: Anyone who's interested in serving on next year's Thespian Board/Company Council should send the following information to me by Sunday, May 17:
--Name
--Grade (20/21 School Year)
--Constituency Served (who you feel you'd represent well, can be multiple):
/Onstage (Acting)
/Offstage (Costuming/Crew/Tech/Management)
/All-Around
/Grade or Class
--What draws you to Service? What do you feel you would bring to the table as a member of our Company Council?

The guidelines for qualifying for, and serving as a member of, the TBoard/Council can be found HERE!

-Troscar Voting:  Once we have TBoard/Council candidates in, then I can post Troscar Ballots online!  Expect that balloting will open Monday, May 18th and close Friday, May 22nd.

-Thespians/Letters/Hours Submissions:
Thespians: This year, I'll be handling all hours registrations for the 19/20 season.  I'll notify folks via email to their PPS email address if they are new inductees by Friday, May 15th; if you're already a Thespian, you're set on this one.  If you are indeed a new inductee, you'll need to complete the information for Thespians asked for in the email in order to officially register with International Thespians.

Letters: If you are a 19/20 Letter Winner, I will also be emailing you by Friday, May 15th.  You'll need to respond to the Google Form I'll attach so that I know what recognition items you'll need:
/A Letter: For first-time Letter Winners with no prior Letter awards from sports, academics, or extracurricular organizations.
/A Mask: For first-time Letter Winners with a prior Letter award from sports, academics, or extracurricular organizations.
/A Bar: For multiple-time letter winners.

-Troscar Presentations:  As you all know, half of the fun of Troscars are the presentation sketches!  Once we have voting completed, we'll be looking for folks to create presentation sketch videos to build into our virtual Troscars!  Once we have the ballots in and tabulated on May 22nd, we'll reach out to the folks who sign up to present by the next day, and they'll then have until 1100am on Wednesday, May 27th to get their videos in to mjamie@pps.net.

-Senior Interview Video: If you're a Senior, and want to be a part of our year-end video tradition, reach out to Emma Jeffcock on social media or at emma@jeffcockfamily.net to get involved!

-Receiving Your Awards:   An important detail!  And, alas, there's no way for me to get all of the cords, letters, and awards certificates ordered and received before Troscars, in order to get them all to folks at the Senior Cap And Gown Pickup on May 28th.  I'll be personally building your awards packages and delivering them to their recipients after June 1...so look for that sign up here after Troscars!

-j.
